  1. You will be missed mom. Rest in peace. Love Samuel. ❤

  2. Mama, I know it was your time to go to heaven I wish it didn’t have to end the way it did. I will always have wonderful memories of you.
You took very good care of us growing up.
You were also a wonderful cook . You loved us and your grandchildren very much. I’m happy I was able to drive to Phoenix and spend the little time I had with you. Visiting you in the hospital, talking to you, making you smile, filing and painting your nails and playing music for you and being able to stand by your side until your final breath. Everyone knew you and loved you where you lived and you knew everyone’s name. You were indeed the cool gal there. Always proud to yell to everyone “look , this is my daughter Patricia visiting from California, isn’t she beautiful!” Since you left I cry for you every day. I know time will heal me. I love you and miss you very much! I will treasure you forever! You are finally in peace and with no pain. Love you Mama, until we see each other again! ~ Paty

  3. Maria Ofelia I did not get a chance to meet you, but I met and worked with your wonderful daughter Patty. You did an amazing job creating and shaping such an outstanding human being like Patty; sincere, humorous and hard working. May your soul Rest In Peace Maria Ofelia
May God grant peace and comfort to your loved ones

  4. Dearest Maria
Your passing has touched the lives of all that knew you and even some like myself who didn’t . Your dear children who I imagine to be a direct reflection of you from the funny and sweet stories Ive heard about you give me a sense of having known you personally . Your daughter Patricia has been a friend of mine for over 25 years and A lot of the traits I hear you had that caused people to love you and bring smiles to their faces she has as well and to know your baby girl is to love her ❤️ Thank you for the gift of my dear friend and I promise to be by her side as I have been to help her adjust to God deciding he needed you more … My prayers go out to every life you touch that feels a void since your departure – 2 Timothy 4:7 You fought a good fight Mama Maria

  6. To My Tia Mary,
Your smile and joy will forever be stamped on my heart. You filled our lives with your love and laughter. Some of my fondest childhood memories have you in them. I remember spending the afternoons after school with you and Manina, telling jokes and making you laugh till we cried. Watching Maria Mercedes Novelas in the den at my grandma Amalia’s house while you crocheted doilies….I could go on and on. I love you Tia Mary, and I will definitely miss you. Until we see each other again. Love you forever and always – your little Katrina

  8. Mary, you were one of the funniest and nicest tías I acquired after Herman became my step father. My brothers, Herman JR, Jose, and Carlos will miss you for sure. You made us laugh all the time as kids and we will always remember you fondly because of that. “What’s so funny bugs bunny?”, that was your biggest question to us after having us rolling in laughter.

    Rest In Paradise

  9. Rest In Peace my beautiful Aunt. I love you so much, you will be so missed and always remembered, until we meet again. Love always..
