Jennifer Anne Lillmars

Our beloved Jennifer (Kenny) Lillmars tragically and unexpectedly left us on September 4th 2024. Loved and missed by her husband, Kirk Lillmars, and her loving sons Liam Stutsman, and Sean Lillmars of Surprise, AZ along with Blayne and Leah Stutsman of Oregon. Her loving mother and father, Patrick and Carole Kenny, sisters and brother, Maureen Woodworth, Patrick Kenny, and Sheila Kenny. Her nieces and nephews, Meghan Woodworth, Nicholas Kenny- Kruchkevich, Caroline Kenny-Kruchkevich, Kelsey Kenny, and Madison Kenny. Her brother and sister-in-laws Alan Woodworth, Wendy Kenny, Steve Kruchkevich, Lisa, and John Beckham along with her extended family that included her best friends, Renae St Amand, Angie Tizzano, and their family members. There are so many other parts of Jen’s loving and caring community that she loved so much. Jen’s passion was first and foremost her family. Her sons, Liam and Sean were her world. She never missed a game and was always their biggest cheerleader. She always knew the best way to support them. After moving from Boston, she created a true family in Arizona. She was fiercely loyal to her newfound family, demonstrated through her never-ending commitment to the Suprise, AZ community. Jen found her calling in working with students at Willow Canyon High School. Her true vocation was teaching, and her students and colleagues were considered family. Regardless of how she felt, she always had kind words. Her infectious laugh and her always-present glowing smile made the day brighter for whoever she was speaking to. True to her Boston roots, Jen managed to maintain a stronger Boston accent than even her family back home and had a dry, sarcastic sense of humor that often made you laugh so hard that your belly hurt. She made the world a better place through her volunteer work which included Best Buddies Friendship Walk, Vice President of her son’s football team boosters, and many others. She left us too soon and will always be missed. Those who knew her are left with a permanent image of love and compassion. Jen, you will always be remembered in our thoughts and prayers. Jen’s Visitation and Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 South Litchfield Road, Goodyear, Arizona 85338. The chapel will open to the public at 5:00 pm with the Celebration of Life beginning at 7:00 pm. At the celebration of life, we invite you to be prepared to share your fondest memories of Jen and how she enriched our world.
