Gordon Glenn Conner

Mr. Gordon Glenn Conner was born August 3,1961 in New Madrid Missouri, the Son of Lonnie and Bessie Jones. He was a resident of Toledo Ohio. Gordon Passed away peacefully at his home in Surprise, Az surrounded by family and lots of love. Gordon graduated from Flint Northern High School class of 1980. He loved being active Gordon was on the wrestling team and played football. Gordon was employed with Edwards Rose and Son for the past 12 years. Gordon enjoyed fishing, watching sports, road trips and being with his family. Mr. Gordon Glenn Conner leaves to cherish his memory: 1 daughter, Donecia Conner , Bonus children De’Ondrah and Demetruis Turner of Phoenix, AZ; Sister Gloria Conner of Flint MI; Sister in-law Letisha Conner of Flint; MI; Aunts, Helen Diggins of Toledo Ohio, Ora (Calvin) Milton of Sterling Heights, MI; Grandchildren, Roy Brown III , Kholbi Conner and Howard Mitchell IV all of Phoenix, AZ; God daughter Rayana Peoples; A host of nieces and nephews including special niece Roshawnna Peoples and Special cousin Suzette Booker. Mr. Conner was preceded in death by his parents, Bessie and Lonnie Jones; Wife Rovata Conner; Brothers, Thaddeus and Marty Conner; Uncles, Gregory, Dave and Gean Conner; Aunt, Ella Mae Winters and Linda Bryson; Cousins Lorane Winters and Shirley Winters. The family would like to express special thanks to The City of Hope Cancer Center Goodyear Az, Stillwater Hospice Phoenix, Az and New Home Missionary Baptist Church. God Took Him To His Loving Home God saw him getting tired, a cure was not to be. He wrapped him in his loving arms and whispered, "Come with me". He suffered much in silence; his spirit did not bend. He faced his pain with courage, until the very end. He tried so hard to stay with us, but his fight was not in vain, God took him to His loving home and freed him from the pain.
