Margarita Mieux passes away on June 11,2026 in Surprise, AZ, at the age of 75. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7 Margarita (also known as Margie) was born November 9, 1950, in Los Angeles, CA. She was the third of five children to Sarah and Roberto Barraza. She had an older brother Raul Barraza (deceased), one older sister Lydia Bedoka (deceased), and a younger sister Loretta Barraza, and a younger brother Michael Barraza (deceased). Margarita married Michael Mieux (deceased) on June 12,1971 and had one daughter. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Le’Che Dent with her grandchildren Sergio Cano Jr., Aleena Cano, Andrew Cano and Marquis Dent. Margie was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She dedicated her life to God as a Christian in 2007, she became a great grandmother in 2014 to first great grandson D.J. McWaine JR. (11), followed by Ciara Cano (9), Andrea Cano (7), Jaylani Cano (6) and Elias Cano (5 months) over the years. She lived a full and happy life, despite the struggle of heath issues, she loved her daughter, son-in-law, grandkids and great grandkids no matter the circumstances, she always was there for us. Margie was the heart of our family. She possessed a beautiful spirit, an impressive sense of humor and an unmatched ability to make everyone feel special and loved. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and warmth to every room she entered. She will forever be cherished, deeply missed, and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Grief is a journey that calls us to embrace both the sorrow of loss and the joy of cherished memories. As we walk through this season, we find comfort in God’s promises. Which strengthen and sustain us through every step. Together, we can share our tears, celebrate the lives of those we love, and lean on the peace that only God can provide. We trust in His perfect plan. Even when we do not fully understand it, knowing that He is with us in every moment of our grief. May our faith remain steadfast. Our hearts be filled with hope, and our spirits find comfort in the assurance that our love, Margie, is forever safe in the loving embrace of our Lord.
