Barry L. McDonald

BARRY L. MCDONALD, 64, died Monday, August 12, 2019 at his home in Phoenix, AZ.

Barry was born on August 17, 1954 in Morrison, IL to Lyle and Marjorie (Kuehl) McDonald. He was educated in the Morrison schools and was a graduate of Morrison High School.  He attended the University of Wisconsin and graduated from Southern Illinois University.  Many hours were spent water skiing on the Mississippi River as a child, and later he enjoyed snow skiing, snowmobiling and golfing. After graduating college, Barry worked in Information Technology in Chicago specializing in large data storage solutions and later moved to Phoenix and worked for IBM.  After several years in Phoenix, he relocated to Illinois and continued with IBM and later as an IT consultant for John Deere before his retirement.  He dedicated a significant amount of his time studying the bible and was a valued part of his parents’ support system, helping to care for Marjorie and Lyle in their later years.

Survivors include brother Michael (Connie) McDonald of Columbus, OH, two nephews, Colin McDonald and Benjamin (Allison) McDonald, niece Cornelia and nephew Fletcher; aunt Beth and uncle Lester Renkes and many cousins.

Barry was preceded in death by his parents; uncles Harvey and Orville Kuehl and Merle, Carrol and Burnell McDonald; aunts Ruth Reed and Gladys Glassburn, Verda Sweet and Dorothy Wirth.

A memorial service will be held at the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Morrison, IL on Tuesday, September 10th, immediately followed by a short graveside service at the Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison.

Lois Betty MacMillan

Lois Betty MacMillan, age 69, of Surprise, Arizona, passed away on August 11, 2019.  She was born on August 7, 1950 to Mildred Lois Brown and Harold Leverne Doolittle in Whittier, California.

She is survived by her husband Daniel Macmillan, daughter Michelle Duclos, brother Don Dolittle, sister Mary Swirsky and three grandchildren.

Donations can be made trough St. Jude.

Cremation was entrusted to Simply Cremation in Surprise, AZ.

Terry Wayne Blann

Terry Wayne Blann, age 75, of Glendale, Arizona passed away on August 8, 2019 in Peoria, Arizona.

Devvyn Montgomery Green

Devvyn Montgomery Green, 23, of Surprise, AZ passed away July 30, 2019 in Surprise, AZ.  He was born January 9, 1996 to Toby Green and Omie Smith II in Portsmouth, VA.

Devvyn was a graduate of Millennium High School. He was currently a student at Estrella Mountain Community College where he was studying theatre. He was not only a talented actor, starring in many short films and plays, he was also a talented athlete and played football and wrestled. The oldest of 7 siblings, Devvyn was very outgoing and friendly. His family remembers him as funny and mischievous and always taking selfies.  Devvyn loved anime and one of his favorite things to do was go to Comicon in Phoenix.

Devvyn is survived by his parents William and Teresa Fitzgerald; sisters Brookelynde Green, Kristen Fitzgerald, Kiandra Adeyemi; brothers Williams Foster, A’donis Fitzgerald, Zyon Fitzgerald; father Toby Green and his wife, Julie Green; grandparents William and Jacqueline Fitzgerald, Wayne and Robin Smith, Mary and Donald Thomas and Martha Rosales.

A visitation will begin at 12:00pm on Saturday, August 10th with a funeral service to follow at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ 85338.

Arrangements are under the direction of Simply Cremation in Surprise, AZ.

Dale Roger Pennington of Surprise, AZ passed away August 6, 2019 in Surprise, AZ. He was born August 27, 1936 in Joliet, IL.
