Brenda M. Lyons

Mrs. Brenda Mina Lyons, 66 of Wittmann, Arizona passed away on October 27, 2022, in Wittmann, Arizona. She was born June 18, 1956, to Harry Bell and Wilma Sisco in Ware, Massachusetts.

She married David Lyons on March 15, 1980, in Owensboro, Kentucky. They had one daughter, Shelly who was Brenda’s baby. When Shelly was young, she often let her get away with much more than Dave would have liked.

Brenda was a dedicated businesswoman, owning her salons and working for herself through the years. She owned and operated Eco Chic Hair Boutique for the past 7 years in Surprise, Arizona. All of Brenda’s clients were so special to her. She listened and genuinely cared for them.

Brenda hated to cook, but always had a few special dishes she was famous for. She loved to have her homemade vanilla ice cream topped with peanut butter fudge. She often scoffed at the idea of flowers, saying they were a waste of money; but necklaces, on the other hand, she always had one on. Her spunky nature was ever so present and wasn’t a surprise to anyone if you heard her comment “are you f@%*ing kidding me!”

In her free time, she loved to dance; you could find her and Dave at the local Brookside Sports Bar & Grille every Thursday night, dancing and having a great time. Western fashion, décor, and music were some of her favorite things. She often could be found listening to her two favorite bands: Western Fusion, and Western Bred. She loved horses- particularly palominos, and her favorite color was orange.

Dave and Brenda bought an RV and had big plans to travel after retirement. Quickly enough though, Brenda realized that she disliked traveling in her RV, but enjoyed traveling abroad. Their most recent trip was to Stockholm, Sweden, as she pursued her new passion with ZinZino.

Brenda will be remembered fondly as a beautiful, caring, loving, hardworking, and all-around exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and woman. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 42 years, Dave Lyons; daughter Shelly Marano; sister Cindy Wood; brother, Bill Brunelle and her 3 grandchildren: Savanna, Saleen, and Bella.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, and Son-In-Law.
