Linda G. DeBourg

Mrs. Linda G. DeBourg, 72 of Glendale, Arizona passed away September 20, 2022. She was born May 25, 1950 to Antonio Stroop Sr. and Marilyn Stroop in Manhattan, New York City. She had one brother and a sister Alicia L. Peters.

Linda’s exemplary life was a reflection of her pure heart and spirit: the epitome of love. Throughout her life, she graced every relationship with her brilliant smile.

Linda touched hearts and lives through her services as an exceptional cosmetologist.

Linda was her husband’s Queen, their marriage exceeded 50 years.

Linda was a beloved mother and grandmother, she taught and led by example. Linda loved and treasured her children and grandchildren dearly.  A brilliant model of selflessness, she was a mother who always “loved more”.

Through her children and grandchildren, Linda’s legacy lives on.

She is survived by her spouse, Robert S. DeBourg; her daughters Kenya DeBourg-Lighty, and Dalila DeBourg- Hornak; her son Malcolm DeBourg and her brother Antonio Stroop Jr. She leaves behind six grandchildren: Lewis DeBourg-Lighty, Ethena Inez Lighty, Anaya Julise Lighty, Ayana Junise Lighty, Keyra Hornak, and Kiersten Hornak; her sister-in-law Milva Stroop and her two sons-in-laws William Lighty and Bobby Hornak. As well as a host of nieces and nephews and a myriad of loving friends.
