Nicholas R. Bohrer

Nicholas “Nick” Robert Bohrer, age 39, of Surprise, Arizona passed away on May 12th, 2022. He was born in Buffalo New York on September 10th, 1982 to Richard Bohrer and Judith Stoeckl.

As the oldest of four, Nick is survived by his siblings Nina Pelc (Richard), Amy Butler (Martin), and Andrew Bohrer (Samantha). He is also survived by his three nieces and four nephews.

Nick had a love for fast cars, video games, electronics, cartoon characters, action figures, movies, and all things Buffalo. His connection to these items made him a kid at heart. He shared these passions with his friends throughout life and incorporated them into his work. Following his service in the United States Air Force, Nick remained in Surprise, AZ, and found himself sharing his love for movies, electronics, and photography as a Sales Consultant at Best Buy. He was also creative and expressed his artistic abilities through photography. He blended his love for people, photos, and a fun time while working at Westgate, where he was affectionally called “Photo Guy.” He also spent game day at Westgate and made his love for the Buffalo Bills and the “Bills Mafia” known. He wasn’t shy about sporting his Buffalo Bills gear or shouting “Go Bills!”

Nick viewed life through the lens of his camera and captured everyone’s best moments. He had a true passion for capturing the love, happiness, and joy in life. Through his photos, he taught those around him to appreciate life’s little moments. His photos will always hold a special meaning.

Nick was a loyal friend to all. He opened his arms and heart to everyone he met. Once you were a friend, you were always a friend. He had a way of making life-long friends, who quickly became family. He was a loyal friend who would show up and do anything for anyone. He had a magnetic energy that made people gravitate toward him. He was a step beyond just approachable; it didn’t matter if Nick had known you for 20 years or 20 minutes, he would greet you with a dazzling smile and the biggest bear hug. Through it all, Nick was a representation of a loyal, kind, fun-loving soul who worked hard and always made time for others.

Nick conquered many life challenges and continually pushed the limits of what he could do. He wouldn’t let anything stop him from living his life to the fullest. He paved his own path and left life on top.

Nick is survived by his parents Richard and Judith Bohrer, and his siblings. A celebration of life will be held in New York at a later date.
