Raymond D. Nelson of Portland, Oregon, died on the 6th of February, 2021, in Surprise, Arizona. He was born on the 17th of June, 1940, to Albert and Edna Nelson in Portland, Oregon.
Raymond was a veteran of the US Army and a college graduate, holding a BA in Psychology. He is to be interred at the Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
He is survived by his sons, Ray Nelson Jr. and Troy Nelson; his brothers, James and David; and his five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Corey; his brother, Donald Nelson; his father, Albert Nelson; and his mother, Edna Nelson.
