Mrs. Rita Ann McGowan, 80, of Surprise, Arizona passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018. She was born September 26, 1937 to John and Mercedes Rowley in Chicago, Illinois. Rita enjoyed playing golf, playing bridge and her beloved dog Bella. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert M. McGowan, her daughters; Peg Burns (Jack) and Maureen Latham (Jack), her sons; Mike McGowan (Heather), Pat McGowan (Diane) and Dan McGowan (Heather), her sisters; Jean Kutschke and Mary Flynn along with 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mercedes Rowley and her brother John Rowley. A memorial mass will be held at St. Clare’s Catholic Church in Surprise on Monday February 5, at 10m. Our deepest sympathy to Bob and family. Rita was a wonderful lady and we enjoyed playing couples golf and ladies league with her here in South Haven, MI.
