Ruth Stough, 77 died on April 6th, 2022 in Surprise, AZ after a long battle with lung disease. She was born on March 18th, 1945 to Percy and Alfreda Mackett in Kent, England.
Ruth had a true passion for gardening. She served as Treasurer for the Sun City Grand Garden Club, and dedicated much of her time to serving on the garden club board. She was a sub-committee member for the Sun City Grand community garden proposal, and engaged in the development plans for the community garden. She was a member of PEO, as well as the Sun City Grand Singles Group.
She is survived by her dear friend, Moon Jo, as well as her daughter, Natasha Stough and extended family in England, Dubai, Spain and Australia.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Roderick Campbell Brown, her second husband, Michael Parker Stough and her brother, Tony Mackett.
The family suggests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, or Sun City Grand Community Garden in care of Natasha Stough at Brit1153@yahoo.com.
