  1. “Memories”of Sherman Jr.
I remember when Boobie came to me and ask if I could watch Denise, Randy, and Rodney.
I was so pleased to take care of my Big Brother’s children. I felt so proud, that he trust me with my niece and nephews. I knew then, that my Big Brother notice my gift. I must say, “my Big Brother got me.” He never question the music I liked, or me as a person. He just loved me. He know I was very shy, and joined activities because Karen did or Mom said so.
Boobie was this way with all of his siblings. He was a Great Big Brother. He let us choose our own way, and keep his eyes on and ears open making sure we were okay.
One time when I was of age to drink alcohol. I decided to have a can of beer, so I tipped the beer to my mouth and Boobie came in the room. He was very stern and he asked me what was I doing. He told me, he better not ever see me tip a beer can to my mouth again. That stuck with me, and I believe he helped mold me into the the woman I am today. Along with the strong woman who rised me and the love of my entire family, and tight net relationship with our relaltive. Boobie you will be truly missed. Even though we lived mlies apart, I knew you would have my back. Now you will be looking down on me from heaven.
P.S He loved to joke around.
    Sharon

  3. One of my favorite memories of Sherman. I met him working in Amazon, we were having a heart to heart conversation. I told him I never met my grandparents and I asked him if I could call him grandpa. He said yes but no one else could at work. I would catch him during breaks and lunch playing candy crush. I have so many wonderful/beautiful memories of him. I feel grateful for meeting him. My deepest condolences to his family. We will miss him deeply.

  4. Thank you Laura. My Dad was a loving & kind man who was loved and respected by all that knew him. He will be missed beyond belief.

  5. Just found out about Sherm’s passing today from his son Randy. Worked with him for many years at NWS Earle. Great guy, incredible work ethic. And steady family man. Thank you for your service. Great to know you Sherm. God Speed!
